Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TestAPM ("we", "us", or the "Platform") — including our website, merchant dashboard, APIs, and Telegram bot. By registering, posting tasks, or completing tasks as a tester, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use TestAPM on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. What TestAPM is
TestAPM is a coordination platform that connects merchants who need to verify APM (Alternative Payment Method) integrations with testers who hold genuine local payment accounts. TestAPM:
- Facilitates task posting, matching, and status tracking.
- Collects platform fees from merchants for completed or attempted task workflows.
- Facilitates monthly USD payouts to testers via PayPal or Wise on the 1st of each month when balances reach at least $10 USD.
TestAPM is not a payment processor, bank, money transmitter, or APM provider. We do not hold APM wallet funds, process checkout payments on your behalf, or guarantee that any third-party APM will approve a transaction. Real payments occur directly between merchants (or their checkout systems) and testers using local payment apps.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract.
- Testers must reside in a supported country, hold verified local APM accounts, and pass our manual onboarding review.
- Merchants must use the Platform only for legitimate integration testing — not for money laundering, sanctions evasion, fraud, or any unlawful purpose.
- You may not use TestAPM if you are located in, or acting on behalf of parties in, jurisdictions where our services are prohibited by applicable law.
4. Merchant terms
4.1 Account and billing
Merchants pay platform fees per task via PayPal Authorize & Capture. An authorization hold is placed when you publish; the fee is captured automatically when you confirm task completion. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information.
4.2 Posting tasks
When posting a task, you agree to:
- Provide accurate APM, country, task type, and — where applicable — a valid payment link or checkout URL for the tester.
- Configure your checkout with the smallest practical test amount in local currency and refund the tester promptly after confirming payment.
- Not request testers to send funds to personal accounts unrelated to your legitimate checkout or test environment.
- Confirm receipt of payment promptly when your webhook or dashboard indicates a completed test payment, or allow automatic confirmation per Platform rules.
4.3 Fees and pricing
Platform fees are displayed before task publication and vary by APM tier (common, regional, rare, ultra-rare). Fees are quoted in USD. PayPal places an authorization hold when you publish; capture occurs automatically when you confirm completion. Current rates:
- Common — platform fee USD $4.00; tester reward USD $2.00
- Regional — platform fee USD $6.00; tester reward USD $3.00
- Rare — platform fee USD $8.00; tester reward USD $4.00
- Ultra-rare — platform fee USD $10.00; tester reward USD $5.00
Checkout test payments are configured by you in your store's local currency and are separate from the platform fee. Platform fees use PayPal Authorize & Capture: an authorization hold is placed when you publish; capture runs automatically when you confirm task completion. Uncaptured authorizations are voided on expiry. Set the smallest practical amount in your checkout (local currency). Refund the tester promptly after you confirm the payment.
4.4 Webhooks
If you configure webhook URLs, you are responsible for securing your endpoint and verifying HMAC signatures using your webhook secret. TestAPM sends events such as task.claimed, task.payment_made, and task.completed. We are not liable for delivery failures caused by your infrastructure.
4.5 Test outcomes and platform role
By publishing a task, you acknowledge that TestAPM provides coordination and evidence collection only. We do not guarantee that any test will produce the outcome you expect — including but not limited to successful APM authorization, webhook delivery, redirect behavior, settlement timing, or resolution of bugs in your integration.
A task is treated as service complete for Platform purposes when an assigned tester has performed the requested test steps and submitted the required evidence (such as payment proof via Telegram) in accordance with Platform rules, even if the underlying payment or integration did not behave as you intended. Platform fees may become due upon your confirmation of completion or under automatic completion rules; paying a platform fee does not mean TestAPM warrants that your checkout, APM, or backend systems are production-ready.
5. Tester terms
5.1 Registration
Testers register via our Telegram bot, declare supported APMs and country, and submit verification materials. Approval is at our sole discretion. Misrepresenting your location, devices, or payment accounts is grounds for immediate termination.
5.2 Completing tasks
When you claim and execute a task, you agree to:
- Complete the payment within the stated time window using your own APM account.
- Follow merchant-provided test instructions and use the device type required (e.g. mobile for redirect checks).
- Upload accurate payment proof when requested.
- Not collude with merchants or other testers to simulate false completions or manipulate payouts.
5.3 Rewards and payouts
Tester rewards are fixed per APM tier ($2.00–$5.00 USD at current rates) and displayed before you claim a task.
When a task is completed and confirmed, your reward is credited to an internal balance. Payouts are sent manually on the 1st of each month via PayPal or Wise once your balance is at least $10 USD, subject to verification and dispute review. TestAPM may withhold or reverse payouts if fraud or Terms violations are suspected.
You are responsible for any taxes owed on rewards in your jurisdiction. TestAPM does not provide tax advice.
6. Task lifecycle and refunds
The Platform manages task states including pending payment, open, claimed, payment pending, completed, and expired. Refund policy for merchant platform fees:
- PayPal checkout cancelled or not completed — task remains unpublished; no authorization is placed.
- Task expired (no tester claimed) — uncaptured PayPal authorization is voided automatically (hold released; no refund processing fee).
- Tester claimed but did not complete payment in time — authorization voided when applicable; task may be re-broadcast.
- Task completed — platform fee captured via PayPal when you confirm (or when automatic completion applies). No refund of platform fee solely because the test did not meet your integration goals, if the tester submitted required evidence.
For Platform fee and status purposes, completion is based on tester performance and submitted evidence under these Terms — not on whether the merchant's desired technical or business outcome was achieved.
Refunds of checkout test payments between merchant checkout and tester are governed by the merchant's own checkout and APM policies — not by TestAPM.
7. Disputes
If a merchant disputes whether a valid payment occurred, or a tester disputes non-payment of rewards, either party may contact support@testapm.com. We will review task event logs, screenshots, and webhook records. Our decision in Platform disputes is final for purposes of Platform fee refunds and tester payouts, without prejudice to your legal rights against other users.
Disputes based solely on dissatisfaction with test results (e.g. webhook not received, redirect failed, or checkout error) generally do not entitle merchants to a platform fee refund if the tester completed the assigned steps and uploaded required evidence, unless we determine fraud, Terms violations, or material Platform error.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Platform for any illegal activity or to circumvent sanctions or export controls.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our services without written permission.
- Harass other users or Platform staff via Telegram or other channels.
- Create multiple tester accounts to circumvent claim limits or earn duplicate rewards.
- Use automated bots to claim tasks unless explicitly authorized by TestAPM.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, without refund where permitted by law.
9. Intellectual property
TestAPM and its logos, software, and documentation are our property or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. task notes); you grant us a license to use it to operate the Platform.
10. Confidentiality
Merchants must not solicit testers to bypass the Platform for off-platform arrangements discovered through TestAPM. Testers must not share merchant checkout credentials beyond what is necessary to complete an assigned task. Both parties should treat non-public integration details as confidential.
11. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT ANY APM TEST WILL SUCCEED OR MATCH YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
TestAPM does not guarantee tester availability in every country or for every APM at all times. Task broadcast and completion times are estimates, not SLAs, unless separately agreed in writing.
No outcome warranty. We do not guarantee that tests will validate your integration, reproduce production behavior, or achieve any particular merchant goal. You assume all risk relating to your checkout configuration, APM rules, and interpretation of test results.
Evidence-based completion. Where an assigned tester has carried out the published test instructions and submitted required evidence (including payment proof where applicable), the Platform may treat the task as complete for fee and status purposes regardless of whether you consider the test successful for your business purposes.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TESTAPM AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO TESTAPM IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TestAPM from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights — including payment disputes between merchants and testers outside our Platform fee handling.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including inactivity, Terms violations, or operational necessity. Upon termination, provisions that by nature should survive (including Sections 11–13) remain in effect.
Unused merchant balance may be refunded at our discretion minus applicable processing costs, subject to verification of the account holder.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the Platform.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts of Hong Kong shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform, subject only to mandatory consumer or employment protections that cannot be waived in your jurisdiction.
